The Zebitz Vikings share the recipe for:
Guest House sausages served with root vegetables
Sausage skins, rinsed
1 kg minced pork
200-300 ml oats
2 eggs, whisked
2 apples, finely diced
Instead of apples you can use 2 leeks
Mix the meat, apples/leeks and eggs together well. Add the oats a little at a time until the mixture becomes less wet but still sticky. Leave it to rest for about 30 minutes.
Fill the sausage skins with the mixture. Fry them on a pan.
Mix your favourite vegetables cut into equal sized pieces:
Fry them in a pan in some pig fat or butter.
