Fried bread is no doubt a simple dish and you can go with the spices you like. You can even change it from sweet to savoury, if you prefer. Introduce fried bread to the breakfast or brunch table. Have it as a snack or serve it as a quick dessert. We are pretty sure the kids will like them, too!
Procedure
Choose white or sourdough bread for this dish.Whisk milk, cream, eggs and salt in a bowl. Put the bread slices into the mixture and let them soak some of liquid before turning them over.
Fry both sides of the bread in butter in a frying pan until golden. Serve right away with fresh berries and honey.
