Getting here

Ribe VikingeCenter is located just 2 km south of Ribe,
the oldest town in Denmark and Scandinavia.

By car

Coming from the south: You'll be coming via route 11 (Tønder) and must turn right in the first roundabout at Ribe (follow the signposts). You're then on the road Roagervej. Look for our flags and sign.

Coming from the north:
You're coming via route 11 (Esbjerg/Kolding). Take the third turning in direction of Lustrup (follow the signposts) in the fourth roundabout. You're then on the road Roagervej. Look for our flags and sign.

Coming from the south east: You're approaching Ribe via route 24 (Haderslev/Aabenraa/Flensburg). Continue through the village Damhus and in the first roundabout after the village, take the third turning (follow the signposts) onto the road Haulundvej. At the end of Haulundvej you must turn right as you follow the signposts for the Viking centre.

GPS: Enter the address/location Roagervej 129, 6760 Ribe. Look for our flags and sign.

By train or bus

Bus no. 411/417 runs on school days between Ribe and Ribe VikingeCenter. The timetable is available on sydtrafik.dk - Esbjerg Kommune

NEW! From June 30 till August 11, 2024 bus no. 411 runs between the busstation in Ribe and Ribe VikingeCenter.
The bus leaves the busstation at 9:25, 11:25, 14:20 and 16:20. 10 minuts later it arrives at Ribe VikingeCenter in Lustrupvej.
The bus leaves from Ribe VikingeCenter at 10:07, 12:10, 15:05 and 17:05.
The times are the same all seven days of the week.  Ask the bus driver to stop at Ribe VikingeCenter.

There is a direct and safe for traffic cycle/foot path leading from Ribe to Ribe VikingeCenter.
