This Hip berry honey is great on pancakes, on a slice of bread or even in your tea.
Vorgehensweise
Melt the honey in a cooking pot over low heat. When warm, you add to it:DRIED HIP BERRIES: let honey and berries simmer for about 15-20 min.
FRESH HIP BERRIES: chop the berries first. Let honey and berries simmer for 10 min.
Leave the hip berry honey to cool a bit before transferring it to a bowl or jar.

- Fresh OR dried hip berries, deseeded
The Rose Hip is very common along the Wadden Sea coast, and the hip berry is quite the superfood packed with vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients. The concentration of vitamin C in one hip berry is far higher than in a citrus fruit.
The "Dog rose" (Rosa canina) is native in Denmark and it was used by the Vikings.
